Minds in Motion groups are typically comprised of kids who attend the same grade at the same school. Fees paid by parents are used to hire different educators to teach a series of interactive workshop-style courses on topics that the group chooses. Minds in Motion groups focus on choosing highly dynamic and passionate teachers with extensive experience.
Having started many years ago, in the East Bay (San Francisco Bay Area), Minds in Motion has expanded to sites with kids who attend many schools in multiple cities.
Minds in Motion groups have been promoted by a diverse assortment of people and entities, from Principals to school board members, from Teachers to School District Directors and the nation’s leading curriculum design organization … and most heartily by kids who have participated over the years, their parents and the teachers!
